• Account Details: Your name, email address, and University Student ID (e.g., Matric number).
• University Affiliation: Information regarding your university or institution to provide relevant events, updates, and content.

B. Authentication Data & Credentials

To provide seamless integration with university portals (such as i-Ma'luum or UiTM systems), Fyutr requires you to log in.

• Crucial Security Note: Your university portal passwords are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. All passwords are encrypted and stored strictly locally on your device. We only store your Student ID on our servers to maintain your Fyutr account.

C. Automatically Collected Information

We collect certain information automatically to help us understand how you use the app and to improve your experience:

• Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the app, pages visited, and features used.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

(Note: We do not track your precise GPS location. Any location-based features, such as the Explore page, rely solely on your selected university affiliation.)

2. Device Permissions

To provide specific core features within the app, Fyutr may request access to the following device functions:

• Camera: To allow you to capture and upload photos directly within the app.
• Photo Library: To allow you to select and upload existing photos from your device's gallery.

You can enable or disable these permissions at any time through your device's settings.

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To create, manage, and authenticate your Fyutr account.
• To provide university-specific features, schedules, and event updates.
• To monitor app performance, fix bugs, and improve user experience.

We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate, secure, and analyze our services. These providers have limited access to your information strictly to perform these tasks on our behalf:

• Backend & Database: We use Supabase for secure database management and user authentication.
• Security & Hosting: We use Cloudflare for network security, performance routing, and content delivery.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to analyze usage trends and improve the app.

No Ads: Fyutr is a strictly ad-free application. We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
